Attention American School Alums: Hi Ho Indians!!!
Mabuhay to Mile High, the 2010 Rocky Mountain Reunion!
July 25th, 2010 marks the Sixtieth countdown-day until our September 24, 25, 26, "Rocky Mountain Reunion" in Denver, Colorado.
The "Mabuhay To Mile High" gathering of old Indians near and far is rapidly ramping up and we want you there to join the tribe and Rock the Rockies with us.
Check out our site (SixtiesCelebration.com) for all details and after doing so, do all your old school chums, siblings, long-lost lovers, etc. a big favor and tell them about the site a.s.a.p.
Note #1: "A.S.A.P." really stands for "American School Alumni Party" so do what you gotta do (Sige Na) Note #2: "Sige Na" is really tagalog for "See you In September" -we think.
To ready yourself for ”Mabuhay To Mile High” we've come up with a Top Ten list activities you might consider engaging in prior to The Reunion.
#10. Lose those one or two pounds you gained since high school.
# 9. Re-learn the words and the melody for our school song ("Across the blue Pacific...ya-da, ya-da, ya-da")
# 8. Get your Kawayan out and confirm that you graduated in the year you think you remembered thinking you did.
# 7. Pick out the perfect birthday party hat as next year we will celebrate the American School's 90th!
# 6. Think green & gold, San Miguel beer and balut.
# 5. If you were a cheerleader or an athlete start working out, if you were a scholar pick up another graduate degree or two, or, if you were a dwork (like the rest of us) practice acting very, very cool.
# 4. Via email, snail mail, phone, fax or smoke signals spread the word about The Reunion and use your considerable influence to get fellow classmates to attend. Work extra hard on those bashful ones we haven't seen in a while- Sige Na!
# 3. Start making plans to board your pets and spouses while you're in Denver.
# 2. Just like high school, have your maid iron your best party clothes.
And, the number one thing you might start doing to ready yourself for the reunion...
# 1. Every day practice saying "Gee you haven't changed a bit..." without wincing.

CLASS COORDINATORS
The following lists the Sixties Alums who have generously volunteered to be their Class Coordinators (CCs). In the upcoming months they will be distributing information regarding our efforts to Rock the Rockies in 2010. Please direct your inquiries or comments to your CCs.
We are still looking for a few good Indians to be the CCs for the classes of the early and late Sixties. If you are interested in volunteering your services please contact our Coordinator of our Class Coordinators, Debbie Husel Rockawaybaby@Gmail.com.
